Privacy notice
Effective October 9, 2026. This version provides a browser-based planning calculator and public guides. The site operates under the public brand name LandedCheck. Contact us at contact@landedcheck.cc. This version has no account registration or enabled advertising.
Calculator inputs and shared links
Calculations run in your browser. Ordinary calculations do not add inputs to the address bar. If you choose to share a calculation, its inputs, restrictions, route adjustments and exchange-rate snapshot are encoded in the link fragment. Anyone with that link can read them. Links can remain in browser history or be disclosed to a sharing service you choose. Never enter passwords, addresses, payment details or other sensitive information.
Exchange rates and local storage
The calculator requests reference exchange rates from Frankfurter. This network request exposes normal connection information, such as your IP address, to that service; calculator purchase inputs are not included in the rate request. A rate/date cache is stored in this browser and accepted for up to seven days. Clear site data in your browser to remove it. Shared calculations use their saved rates.
Hosting and external sites
The site is hosted on Netlify. The host may process request information, such as IP addresses, requested paths and device headers, for delivery, security and service operation. External links and any sharing service you select have their own privacy notices. Legacy calculator links using query parameters may include inputs in hosting logs when opened; new shared links use a fragment.
Contact and community submissions
When you submit a form, we receive your name or nickname, email address, selected subject or topic, message or question, and any publication permission. We use these details to respond to enquiries, investigate corrections and technical issues, prevent spam, and review community questions. Please provide only information needed for your enquiry.
Netlify Forms receives and stores submissions for access by authorized site administrators. If email notifications are enabled, a copy may also reach our inbox. Netlify and email providers may process information in countries other than your own. See Netlify's privacy notice.
Community publication
Community questions are not posted automatically. With your explicit publication permission, we may publish an edited question and your supplied nickname. Your email address is not displayed publicly. Use a nickname if you do not want your real name published. Contact-form messages are not community publication submissions.
Retention and requests
We retain unpublished submissions only as long as needed to handle the enquiry or moderation and related security or legal obligations. Published questions may remain as part of our guides until removed. You can request access, correction or deletion of your submission, or withdrawal of publication permission, by emailing contact@landedcheck.cc. Include enough information to locate your submission, but no sensitive identity documents unless specifically needed and requested. Requests are handled by the operator; removal from Netlify and any inbox copies is not automatic. Copies already shared by others may be outside our control.
Advertising
No advertising or analytics identifiers are configured in this release. Future activation requires a reviewed privacy notice and any required consent mechanism before scripts load.
