For a haul, the crucial number is often separately charged listings or purchase requests, not the number of objects in the final box. A ten-card set sold as one listing and ten cards bought from different sellers can have very different costs.
Count purchases before comparing services
Assume six independent listings and compare hypothetical purchase fees of ¥300 and ¥500 per listing. The totals are ¥1,800 and ¥3,000, a ¥1,200 difference. If the first service then costs ¥1,500 more for packing, funding and shipping combined, it loses that advantage. These hypothetical fees demonstrate the method; use the service’s actual marketplace terms for your order.
Three charging models to recognize
| Model | What to check |
|---|---|
| Flat fee per order or request | Does the seller or service split the basket into several charged orders? |
| Fee per distinct item | Are different sizes or variations counted separately? |
| Percentage with minimum or maximum | Calculate each charged listing before adding the fees; a basket average may be wrong. |
Compare the basket you actually want
Buyee and ZenMarket use different order/item definitions. Other services can add packing charges or use marketplace-specific fees. Use the calculator to shortlist routes, then open each service’s fee terms to confirm that every requested listing is supported. A service with a low purchase fee is not a usable alternative if it cannot purchase the required store or ship the contents.
Prepare your basket record
- Record listing URL, seller, price including seller tax, quantity and domestic delivery.
- Mark whether multiple units are one charged listing or several purchases.
- Identify preorder dates and the latest arrival you are willing to wait for.
- Decide whether original boxes must be retained and whether delicate goods need separate packing.
- Request a combined quote and a sensible split-parcel alternative.
How to enter an unequal basket
Enter total goods value consistently with unit price multiplied by quantity. Set the separate-listings count to the number of fee-bearing purchases. If listing totals differ, use the comma-separated listing totals field; the count and sum must match your basket. Supply whole-parcel weight and dimensions for the combined shipment. You can then compare the same basket with separate shipment calculations.
A small fee saving should not depend on every parcel arriving before a storage deadline. Build a delivery plan that still works if one seller is late.
