Buyee should be compared using the complete basket and delivered budget. The purchase fee is only one component; a low fee does not establish the cheapest or most suitable route. This guide explains the published structure used by LandedCheck and the questions to settle at checkout.
Count orders and chosen plans
A purchase fee and a protection option are different budget lines. First count the actual fee-bearing orders, then record the plan selected for each. Do not compare a route with no optional protection against another protected route as though the service scope were identical.
Worked fee example
For two separate orders, the published ¥500 purchase fee adds ¥1,000. If you select a ¥500 plan on each, those two lines total ¥2,000 before goods, delivery, payment differences and import charges.
What the headline does not tell you
Check the specific plan exclusions, especially for malfunction, authenticity and defects visible in a listing. Keep evidence of the listing before it disappears.
Build a complete comparison
- Use the actual goods price including seller tax and the correct count of charged orders or listings.
- Record seller-to-warehouse delivery, including any amount already included by the seller.
- Obtain a packed international quote and identify optional services you selected.
- Check the payment currency, funding charge and conversion cost.
- Read the destination guide for import tax, duty and carrier handling; record amounts already collected.
Compare with the alternatives
Run the same basket through the calculator, then replace each route’s shipping benchmark with its actual quote when available. Compare coverage as well as money. A small difference in a service fee can be outweighed by packing, payment or transport, and unsupported routes should not be selected just because they appear inexpensive.
If you supply a local price, use an equivalent item and include local delivery and tax. A partial comparison with excluded duty is a remaining budget before that duty, not a guaranteed saving. Review the assumptions below the result before choosing.
