Doorzo fees: calculate the full purchase cost

Understand Doorzo purchase fees with a worked example, listing-count checks and a checklist for shipping, payment and import costs.

Published-source guide · illustrative examples clearly labelled

Doorzo should be compared using the complete basket and delivered budget. The purchase fee is only one component; a low fee does not establish the cheapest or most suitable route. This guide explains the published structure used by LandedCheck and the questions to settle at checkout.

Percentage fees need listing-level prices

A percentage charge with a minimum and maximum must be calculated for each charged item. Doorzo’s published structure includes marketplace exceptions; in particular, do not assume every Suruga-ya purchase uses the ordinary cap.

Worked fee example

Illustrative budget — not a shipping quote

Using the ordinary modeled 3% structure with a ¥200 minimum and ¥300 maximum, two listings of ¥1,000 and ¥19,000 produce ¥200 + ¥300 = ¥500. Applying 3% to the ¥20,000 basket and capping it once would incorrectly give ¥300.

What the headline does not tell you

Enter unequal listing totals when relevant. Confirm any consolidation or optional-service charge for a large basket, and recheck promotions at checkout rather than treating them as permanent rates.

Build a complete comparison

  • Use the actual goods price including seller tax and the correct count of charged orders or listings.
  • Record seller-to-warehouse delivery, including any amount already included by the seller.
  • Obtain a packed international quote and identify optional services you selected.
  • Check the payment currency, funding charge and conversion cost.
  • Read the destination guide for import tax, duty and carrier handling; record amounts already collected.

Compare with the alternatives

Run the same basket through the calculator, then replace each route’s shipping benchmark with its actual quote when available. Compare coverage as well as money. A small difference in a service fee can be outweighed by packing, payment or transport, and unsupported routes should not be selected just because they appear inexpensive.

If you supply a local price, use an equivalent item and include local delivery and tax. A partial comparison with excluded duty is a remaining budget before that duty, not a guaranteed saving. Review the assumptions below the result before choosing.

Try a starting scenario

Open an illustrative basket for this topic, then replace the price, destination and other inputs with your own. Press Calculate Cost to run it. Article arithmetic uses its stated assumptions; live reference rates and supported model assumptions can produce a different result.
